He already has offers from Army, Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Tulsa, and most recently Oklahoma State.
"I liked that Oklahoma State offer because they showed they are a power with what they did last season and what they'll do this year," said Jerel Morrow, who is being recruited to Oklahoma State by Jason Jones.
"I'm having as much fun as you can have (with recruiting). Kansas is a school that I have liked, mainly basketball but I like the school. Nebraska was an impressive offer because they are a power like Oklahoma State. That offer definitely got my attention."
Morrow has been on three campuses so far -- Kansas, Kansas State and Nebraska.
He is very athletic with a 4.4 forty and 235-pound bench press max and 420-pound squat max. He is also a strong student with a 3.7 GPA, and he has a 17 on the ACT so far. In basketball he just missed averaging double figures with 9.7 points per game and 2.7 rebounds a contest.
He knows what he is looking for in a school and seems to know when he will decide, or at least he has a range.
"I'm definitely looking for a school with good academic support, and then also how great the coaching staff is with the players in developing them for the next level," added Morrow. "I'm thinking at the latest, the very latest, that I would have a decision by the end of my football season. I'm also thinking that I could make a decision by the end of the summer."
Morrow is going to continue to pick up offers because he has talent on the field, is a good student, and can play both offense and defense. We will keep up with his progress through the recruiting process.
