Younger Curry Brother In High Demand

While many of Oklahoma State's newcomers moved in this weekend, one of them had a prospect come along with him. New Cowboys wide receiver C.J. Curry was joined by his parents and his younger brother Darius, who is about to be named the top cornerback in the Georgia high school ranks by The Gridiron Magazine, according to his dad and Flowery Branch (Ga.) defensive coordinator Felix Curry.

The younger Curry is 6-1, 190 pounds and runs right at 4.5 for the forty.

"We have to get Darius to a camp in Alabama," said Felix Curry from Stillwater on Saturday. "He's had a great spring and he has over 20 offers. Recruiting is going really well."

The offers for Curry include Oklahoma State where he could team up with his brother along with Auburn, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi State, Missouri, North Carolina State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, South Carolina, Southern Miss, Tennessee, Central Florida, and Western Kentucky.

Last season Curry made 47 tackles, broke up a number of passes, and had a fumble recovery. He played well enough to earn an invite to the annual Junior Stars game in the Atlanta area. No word on when Curry plans to try to come up with a decision on his college home.
