Future Cowboys: How They Looked In Week 3

Jerel Morrow had his best game of the young season this week in leading his Emporia (Kan.) High School team to an impressive win over Highland Park. Quarterback Luke Del Rio returned to the field after breaking his left (non-throwing) arm a few weeks earlier. Marcell Ateman, WR (6-4, 190)
East High School (Wylie, Texas)
This week's game: Ateman had eight catches for 92 yards in helping Wylie East (2-1) to an impressive 34-31 victory over powerhouse Denton Ryan on Friday night. Through three games this season, Ateman has 23 receptions for 234 yards (15.6 average per catch) for three touchdowns.

ZACH CRABTREE, OL (6-7, 260)
Mansfield High School (Mansfield, Texas)
This week's game: Mansfield rushed for 327 yards and six touchdowns en route to a resounding 63-22 victory over rival Mansfield Summit on Friday night.

DARIUS CURRY, CB (6-1, 190)
Flowery Branch High School (Flowery Branch, Ga.)
This week's game: Flowery Branch won for the first time this season, defeating Cedar Shoals 45-27 on Friday night.

LUKE DEL RIO, QB (6-2, 195)
Valor Christian High School (Highlands Ranch, Colo.)
This week's game: Del Rio, playing with a broken left arm (non-throwing arm), completed 14 of 21 passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns to help Valor Christian to a 42-0 victory over Heritage for its first victory in three games. Through three games, Del Rio is 51-of-85 passing (60 percent) for 568 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.

JAXON SALINAS, OL (6-4, 285)
Irving High School (Irving, Texas)
This week's game: Irving is still looking for its first victory of the season after suffering a 24-10 loss to Lewisville on Friday night.

JEREL MORROW, CB (6-1, 180)
Emporia High School (Emporia, Kan.)
This week's game: Morrow caught four passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns as Emporia improved to 3-0 with a 50-14 victory over Highland Park on Friday night. The future Cowboy caught a 63-yard scoring pass on the third play of the game to give the Spartans an early lead and added a sensational touchdown grab between two defenders in the second quarter.

This week's game: Ross caught three passes for 31 yards, including one for a 21-yard touchdown in the second quarter, as John Tyler defeated crosstown rival Tyler Lee 21-0 on Friday night. Through the first three games, Ross has 10 catches for 221 yards and five touchdowns.

RA'SHAAD SAMPLES, WR (5-11, 170)
Skyline High School (Dallas, Texas)
This week's game: A 20-point fourth quarter rally came up short as Skyline suffered its first loss of the season to Arlington Bowie 38-36 on Friday night. Samples only had one catch for 17 yards – a second-quarter touchdown reception.
