East High School (Wylie, Texas)
This week's game: Ateman caught a Hail Mary pass on the final play of the first half to give his team the lead, and Wylie East rolled to a 42-17 victory over Greenville on Friday night. He finished the night with five catches for 90 yards and the touchdown catch. Through seven games, Ateman has 45 receptions for 811 yards (18.0 yards per catch) for 12 touchdowns.

Darius Curry caught a 30-yard touchdown pass and Justin Curry scored on 27-yard run as the Falcons won their sixth in a row.

This week's game: Del Rio completed 7 of 8 passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns in limited action as Valor Christian rolled to a 58-7 victory over Palmer on Friday night. For the season, Del Rio is now 102 of 149 passing (68.5 percent) for 1,210 yards with 14 touchdowns and two interceptions.
