Oklahoma State has continued to recruit Flowers through the fall and his football season. There are reports that Flowers is very interested in Oklahoma State, but he told us that he would let us know his plan when he told everybody.
The 6-3, 180-pound Flowers is one of the top-ranked safety prospects in Texas, and he had four interceptions as a junior for an 8-3 Judson team. This season, despite missing some time with a knee injury, he finished with three interceptions for a Judson team eliminated in a 34-28 thriller by San Antonio O'Connor last week.
Flowers has 4.4 speed and is also a track standout for the Judson Rockets.
Besides his previous commitment to Arizona State and current interest in Oklahoma State, Flowers was being pursued and was offered by Mississippi State, BYU, Purdue and Kansas State, among others.
