Fresh Off Title, Nash Ready To Visit

Devon Nash and his Iowa Western teammates finished off an unbeaten season while earning the NJCAA National Championship on Sunday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as they defeated Butler County Community College 27-7 in the bowl game designated as the championship game. The 6-5, 260-pound defensive end had two unassisted and two assisted tackles, and assisted on a tackle for loss in the game.

"It was a lot of fun and a lot of hard work," said Nash, who agreed that he was hoping that the rings were a special design for the championship.

The native of Lincoln, Neb., Nash has visited Arizona State, and he now has a schedule set up of Kansas State this weekend and he will visit Oklahoma State on Dec. 14.

"The schools that I'm visiting are all close to each other (in his preference), and I really don't want to say who is leading right now," Nash Said. "They are all close and I will take my visits and then sign the next Wednesday."

Oklahoma State also has defensive end Sam Wren from Arizona Western making an official visit this upcoming weekend. Wren is a 6-4, 260-pounder.
