The 2013 Offense-Defense All-American Bowl was played Sunday night at Reliant Stadium, and unfortunately because it was played on the night of the final action in the NFL regular season there was little game coverage. Participating in the game were Oklahoma State commitments Vincent Taylor of San Antonio (Madison), Texas, Jerel Morrow of Emporia, Kan., and Marcell Ateman of Wylie (East), Texas.
"It was pretty good," Taylor said of the game itself. "I felt I was coming off the ball good and I was able to handle the offensive linemen on the other side. It was a good experience."
Taylor, who is 6-3, 278 pounds, had a spectacular senior season in earning repeat honors as All-Area in the San Antonio Espress-News with 124 tackles, 73 unassisted with five sacks, 20 tackles for loss, and a fumble caused. He was also All-District 26-5A after earning the 2011 Defensive Player of the Year honor from the San Antonio Express-News.
"The week of practice at the O-D game was pretty good too," added Taylor. "I got to meet new players, new coaches, and see a lot of pretty good talent, and to get to room with one of my future teammates in Jerel Morrow."
