Corion Webster of Atlanta, Texas was one of the Cowboys early choices and for good reason. The 5-11, 185-pound running back has great speed and despite fighting off some injuries he had a huge senior season. He finally made his visit this weekend.
"It was great," said Webster of his visit. Asked if anything really stood out during the visit, Webster said, "not really." Webster said he liked everything.
"My host was running back Desmond Roland, and we got along really well. He is a good guy," said Webster.
Webster is a man of few words. He finished this season with 1,681 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 204 carries. As a junior, he finished with 1,865 yards and 24 touchdowns on 220 carries.
Webster said he had his two brothers and his two uncles with him on the visit and all of them had a good time.
With Webster and the commitment of Childs the Cowboys can go into the 2013 season with a number of young players but with plenty of talent on the depth chart at running back.
