Recruiting: 10 Questions With Marcell Ateman is contacting the Oklahoma State signees to ask each of them the same 10 questions, some football related and others not, in an attempt to give fans a chance to get to better know their future Cowboy.

What about Oklahoma State first caught your eye?
Ateman: It was the receivers they put in the NFL. I'm looking at Dez Bryant and Justin Blackmon, and I like those physical receivers. They just kind of caught my eye.

What was your deciding factor in committing to the Cowboys?
Ateman: Coaches, (and) the atmosphere. The coaches stayed loyal, they kept calling and keeping in touch with me to make sure I was still committed, and coming by the school, all the interest that they showed me. It showed that they cared.

What are three words or phrases that describe you as a person?
Ateman: Respectful, great personality and outgoing.

What are three words or phrases that describe you as a football player?
Ateman: Physical, strong and good hands.

What is your favorite thing to do on the football field?
Ateman: I like having the cornerback there and going for a jump ball.

What is your favorite thing to do off the football field?
Ateman: I'm a big student of the game, so I still learn more about the game. I like watching football and doing things football related, just to help me mentally for the game.

If you don't go on to play in the NFL, what would you like to do?
Ateman: I'm going there for a major in business and marketing. So hopefully, if we don't make it, I'll work for a business or corporation.

What are you most looking forward to in terms of playing for Oklahoma State?
Ateman: Going against the great players and talent there's going to be in the Big 12. Just getting a feel of Stillwater and the atmosphere of the stadium. Going different places and playing different competition.

What do you feel will be your biggest challenge in moving from high school to college?
Ateman: My mindset and knowing the game. Moving up from high school to college, sometimes with players, it's not always the talent or the physical-ness, it's just being mentally strong with the game. Now, I really have to be a student of the game. I have to learn.

Who is the one player on Oklahoma State's roster, or in your recruiting class, that you are most excited to be teammates with next season?
Ateman: In my class, Ra'Shaad Sample. I've been friends with him since fifth grade.
