The skies turned gray and the wind started howling causing the temperatures to take a drop in north central Oklahoma on Sunday. Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy's weather forecast is for a good day for football on Monday afternoon with the temperature climbing near 60 degrees. He's hoping the forecast is correct as the Cowboys begin spring practice Monday.
The squad will go through three workouts (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) before the hiatus for spring break. Then they will return to campus and spring practice with the next workout scheduled for Monday, March 25. As always there are two mandatory practices without pads.
All of the workouts are closed to the public except for the April 20 Orange-White spring football game at Boone Pickens Stadium.
The OSU coaching staff and Gundy will meet with the media for the first time on Wednesday, so there will be little to add until that time. That is also the first day that players can be interviewed, and in a change of previous scheduling the interviews will be done before practice.
