Justin Curry Heading To Fort Smith

Felix and Trina Curry have already contributed greatly to the Oklahoma State football program. Talented wide receiver C.J. Curry is a redshirt freshman currently participating in spring practice. He will soon be joined this summer by young brother Darius, a cornerback standout. Two sons, two good players and two Cowboys. But Felix Curry says youngest son, Justin, might be the best of the bunch.

Now Felix, Trina and Justin are heading a lot closer to Oklahoma as Coach Curry will take over as defensive coordinator at Fort Smith's Northside High School this next season.

The Curry's will be much closer to C.J. and Darius at OSU as they will be on the border of Oklahoma and Arkansas in Fort Smith right across the stateline on Interstate 40.

Justin was the Offensive MVP as a sophomore at Flowery Branch this past season as he helped the Falcons to a region title. The now 5-11, 195-pound Curry rushed for 1,267 yards and 13 touchdowns with 290 receiving yards and three more scores. He earned all-area honors as well in just his sophomore season.

Oklahoma State and Georgia Tech are among the schools that have shown early interest in Curry, but his dad reports that last weekend Justin received his first offer from the UConn Huskies. There will be many more to come.
