Harding Has Good Day At Cowboys Camp

Dylan Harding is poised for a strong senior season for the Jenks Trojans, and he will play college football somewhere and we think he will play well. Harding made a bid to interest Oklahoma State coaches that are looking at him as either a candidate to play the "star" linebacker or safety in the OSU defensive scheme. He was impressive at the OSU one-day minicamp on Saturday.

"I thought I ran well in the forty (4.5) and I think I had the best broad jump in my group, and then I was good on the drills," Harding said.

"My legs were a little tight, a little dead because we had practice last week at Jenks. We went in two-a-days on Thursday and we practiced six hours and then three and a half on Friday. I felt good. In one-on-ones, I thought I did good and they first had me at the star and then moved me back to safety."

Harding is also a standout baseball player for the Trojans. Last season in football, he had 75 tackles with four interceptions. He has scholarship offers from among others Arizona State, North Carolina, Oregon State, Texas Tech and Tulsa.

"I'm not going to any other camps as of now. There are some fairly far away but the OSU camp was the only one that I had planned to attend," Harding added. "The rest of the summer we have workouts in the morning (at Jenks) and then I work two jobs and I'll hang out with friends."

The 6-2, 180-pound Harding has good options and he'll wait to see if Oklahoma State becomes another option.
