Tachie Impressed On Visit To Stillwater

We informed you there was one recruit visiting the Oklahoma State campus and attending practice on Tuesday. Offensive line prospect David Tachie of McKinney, Texas had hoped to get to Stillwater in the summer but it never worked out as he said he wanted to make the trip when his father could go as well. They both made the trip on Tuesday, and we spoke to both.

"It was really good," said the 6-3, 286-pound Tachie late Tuesday night. "We got to see the campus and all the football facilities and speak with the coaches. It was a good trip, and I really like Oklahoma State. The facilities are fantastic."

Tachie's father was more reserved but revealed his intent to be involved and know what schools his son is considering.

"This was a good trip because I got to see everything and meet the people there at the school," said Mr. Tachie. "I want to know about all these places and we needed to go when we would have the chance to do that. I liked what I saw."

McKinney High School has not begun school yet, so the football team is still practicing in the morning. We first met Tachie at the Rockwall, Texas camp where the OSU coaches were guest coaching and Tachie was there supporting teammate and receiver T.V. Williams, who since has committed to Kentucky. The Lions have a good team.

"Practice is going great, we are doing really well," said the big lineman. "We scrimmage on Friday with Richardson."
