Devin Davis Reportedly Out With ACL Injury

The Oklahoman is reporting that projected starting offensive left tackle Devin Davis is out with an ACL knee injury. The report did not have much detail other than quoting an OSU source saying Davis was injured and that it was an ACL injury.

It did not list when or if he had surgery or what his prognosis is. It did hint that Davis is out for a significant amount of time.

Last season's starting left tackle for most of the season, Parker Graham had moved inside to guard, so it is likely if the report on Davis is accurate that Graham would move back outside to left tackle and a guard position would open up.

Oklahoma State is hoping to keep its offensive line healthy this season as they do not have a lot of experience.

The projected starting offensive line in the media guide and pre-fall camp is:
Left Tackle: Devin Davis (now likely Parker Graham)
Left Guard: Brandon Webb
Center: Jake Jenkins
Right Guard: Parker Graham (now possibly Chris Grisbhy, Travis Cross, Paul Lewis or Michael Wilson)
Right Tackle: Daniel Koenig

The Cowboys open the season Saturday against Mississippi State in the Texas Kickoff Classic in Houston.
