Paul Lewis Gets First Start
Redshirt freshman Paul Lewis, made the first start of his career against Lamar. Lewis made the start at right guard after Travis Cross started there the first two games. Seven different Cowboys have made the first starts of their careers this season.

Stewart's Streak Comes To An End
Josh Stewart caught three passes for 49 yards against the Cardinals but the junior receiver had his streak of games with at least four catches snapped at 15.

Stewart moved within 10 yards of passing Josh Cooper for eighth place on the school's career receiving yards. He now has 1,686 receiving yards and Cooper has 1,695.

Catlin Sets Career Mark
Sophomore linebacker Kris Catlin's seven tackles on Saturday night is a career best. His previous best was three against Savannah State last season.
