Future Cowboys: How'd They Do This Week?

If this weekend was any indication the Oklahoma State passing game will be in good hands in a few years. This week's game: Akem and the Broken Arrow defense did the job Friday night, forcing three turnovers and coming up with a goal-line stand as the Tigers defeated Westmoore 20-10 in the final regular season game of the season.

This week's game: Averette played his final junior college game on Saturday as Ellsworth suffered a 25-11 loss to College of DuPage. According to the Ellsworth Athletics website, Averette had 77 tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble while appearing in seven games prior to Saturday's finale.

This week's game: Booker T. Washington defeated Bartlesville 37-24 to finish in a tie for second place in District 6A-1 but the Hornets will be the third seed by virtue of a loss to Sand Springs and will have to go on the road to Broken Arrow in the first round.

This week's game: Hardeman and the Alief Taylor defense did the job Friday night in a showdown with crosstown rival Alief Hastings with the District 18-5A title on the line. They held Hastings to 80 total yards and just six first downs – including 11 yards and two first downs (both on penalties) in the first half – to help Alief Taylor to a 55-0 victory and the district championship.

Jenks High School (Jenks, Okla.)
This week's game: Harding and the No. 1-ranked Class 6A Jenks Trojans capped their second consecutive perfect regular season with a 56-7 victory over Putnam City on Friday night. The Trojans, 10-0, will face an Owasso team they beat 45-28 in September in a first-round playoff game Friday night.

Garden City Community College (Garden City, Kan.)
This week's game: Hill's junior college career came to an end with Garden City's 37-34 double overtime loss to Coffeyville in late October. He completed the 2013 season with the following statistics: 1,361 all-purpose yards in nine games (151.2 yards per game); 659 rushing yards on 101 carries (6.5 avg.), 5 TDs; 32 receptions for 532 yards (16.6 avg.), 6 TDs; 12 punt returns for 63 yards (5.3 avg.), and 107 yards in kickoff returns.

This week's game: Lacy caught six passes for 99 yards and a season-high four touchdowns as DeSoto capped its perfect regular season with a 54-14 victory over Mansfield on Thursday night. Lacy was on the receiving end of scoring passes from quarterback Desmon White of 10, 38, 11 and 13 yards as he upped his season total to 14 touchdown receptions.

This week's game: Ledbetter had 10 tackles, including one tackle for a 2-yard loss, but it wasn't enough as No. 18 Hutchinson lost to No. 6 Butler 24-21 on a field goal with 13 seconds remaining in the Region 6 championship game on Sunday afternoon. Just two weeks ago, in the regular season finale for both teams, Butler won 19-16 in six overtimes.

This week's game: Roberts caught three passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns as Houston Eisenhower defeated Houston Aldine 62-3 on Saturday. He caught 40-yard and 79-yard scoring receptions from quarterback Devlin Isadore as Eisenhower clinched a playoff berth.

This week's game: Rudolph helped the No. 1-ranked Class 4A Northwestern Trojans wrap up their fourth perfect regular season in school history with Friday night's 66-19 victory over rival Rock Hill. Rudolph had more than 100 rushing yards for the first time in his high school career (9 runs for 109 yards, including a 36-yard touchdown run), while also completing 22 of 30 passes for 310 yards and five touchdowns. Entering the playoffs, his touchdown-to-interceptions ratio is 41-to-6, and he also has 12 rushing TDs.
