Official Visitors This Weekend

Devon Thomas of Broken Arrow, Okla., is making his official visit to Oklahoma State this weekend. Thomas was scheduled to visit for the Bedlam game last weekend but opted to wait because of the ugly weather conditions.

Thomas is expected to enroll for school and participate in the offseason program this spring. The 5-10, 190-pound speedy back rushed for 917 yards and six touchdowns on 181 carries. He averaged 5.1 yards per carry and was keyed on by every defense that the Tigers faced. He also had seven pass receptions and returned kickoffs.

We could not confirm whether or not Garden City (Kan.) Community College all-purpose athlete Tyreek Hill will make his official visit this weekend. Hill is also expected to a mid-year transfer and is coming off a tough loss in the Football Capital of Kansas Bowl in which Garden City lost to Tyler (Texas) Junior College.

We don't believe that Kenny Young of River Ridge (John Curtis), La., will be visiting this weekend. We expect he will make his visit on the Jan. 17 monster visit weekend when nearly all of the Cowboys commitments will make the trip to Stillwater.

The Cowboys coaches have been on the road this week so we will be checking to see if they were able to come up with any surprises and have them in for an official visit.
