Sinor Calls Weekend Awesome

Oklahoma State punter commitment Zach Sinor was in agreement with every other prospect that we spoke to from last weekend's huge official visit weekend exclusively for prospects committed to the Cowboys. Okay, at least that was the way it turned out as all 18 prospects, most visiting with their families, were already committed to the Cowboys.

"It was awesome, amazing," said the 6-0, 190-pound two-time Texas All-State punter. "The facilities, the coaching staff was great. I was there for camp in the summer on June 12, but this trip was different. It really was awesome."

Sinor, who averaged 43.9 yards on 45 punts with 15 punts inside the 20-yard line, was part of a Medina Valley team that had a good season but lost in the first round of the playoffs to top 10 Corpus Christi Calallen.

Sinor said his host on the trip was the Cowboys current punter/ kickoff specialist Kip Smith.

Sinor has an amazing story to tell of how he volunteers with tutoring in his high school and in elementary school. We'll tell that in the recruiting issue of Go Pokes that will go to print just after signing day.

He is an excellent student that plans on majoring in some combination of finance and sports management with both degrees in OSU's Spears School of Business.
