Oklahoma State fans will be interested to know that John Kolar, the Cowboys early quarterback commitment out of Norman North, will be participating.
"Yes, I am going to be there and I can't wait," Kolar said when contacted on Tuesday afternoon. "I had this planned back in February when I first learned about it."
Kolar is soaring up the rankings on several recruiting networks after making an early pledge to Oklahoma State. The 6-4, 190-pound Kolar came in last season for current Alabama freshman David Cornwell and led the Timberwolves to the state playoffs.
Kolar completed 109-of-168 passing for 1,675 yards with 15 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions.
The big question is who else will be there? Oklahoma State has not hidden the fact that they will try to add another quarterback to its recruiting class in 2015 to bring the number of scholarship quarterbacks up to four in the program.
Zach Gentry of Albuquerque, N.M., and El Dorado High School visited Stillwater during the Orange Blitz weekend with his parents. Gentry would be interesting to see compete in the Elite 11 and he has not been to any of the previous camps.
The 6-6, 232-pound Gentry last season completed 160-of-268 passing for 1,587 yards with nine touchdowns and just three interceptions. He also rushed for 617 yards and 16 touchdowns. In his career, he is responsible for 51 touchdowns and his ration passing is 26 touchdowns to 9 interceptions.
No word from Gentry on attending, but it is possible that as many as nine of the quarterbacks on the Cowboys' Target List (which can be found here on the Premium Board at GoPokes.com) could be there on Sunday at AT&T Stadium.
