Gundys Return To Stillwater With Title

In case you missed it on Twitter, Oklahoma State head football coach Mike Gundy tweeted a couple of pictures following the championship game in the 12-and-under baseball tournament his son Gunnar and the Oklahoma Select team were competing in this past week in Utah.

They went undefeated and won the championship against teams from all through the western half of the United States.

If you were one of the fans frustrated that Gundy spent the week with family and skipped the Thursday trip to Bristol, Conn., and ESPN, at least you can respect the fact that it was a winning effort Gundy saw in Utah while skipping quality time with the likes of Skip Bayless and Rod Gilmore.

Gundy and his family are back in Stillwater, and bright and early Monday morning the coaching staff will reconvene with a staff meeting. This week the staff will prepare for the players to report back on Thursday and begin practice on Friday.

Fan Appreciation and Media Day follow another practice on Saturday. The Extreme Campers will also be with the team this weekend.

This is Oklahoma Coaches Association Convention and All-State Week in Tulsa and the Oklahoma State coaching staff will visit the coaches convention on Tuesday. Safeties coach Tim Duffie and offensive line coach Bob Connelly are speakers at the convention on Tuesday morning.

It is football time again in Stillwater.
