Ogbah was a disruptive force for Oklahoma State's defense against top-ranked Florida State as he logged six tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss and two pass breakups.
Ogbah and the defensive line recorded four tackles for loss and helped the Cowboys limit the Seminoles to 3.4 yards per rush while providing a consistent pass rush on Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jameis Winston without the Cowboys needing to blitz.
It is the first career Big 12 Player of the Week honor for Ogbah. The sophomore out of Houston, Texas also made his first career start against the Seminoles.
The Cowboys had nine different players combine for 12 Big 12 Player of the Week honors in the 2013 season, setting a league record for most players from a single team to earn Big 12 weekly honors during the course of a season and matching the 2000 Oklahoma team's conference record for most total honorees from one team in a season.
TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin and West Virginia returner Mario Alford joined Ogbah as weekly conference honorees with the offensive and special teams Player of the Week awards, respectively.
