Settle To Visit Oklahoma State This Weekend

Standout defensive tackle Tim Settle of Manassas (Stonewall Jackson), Va., announced via Twitter on Tuesday that he would take his official visit to Oklahoma State this weekend.

The four-star defensive tackle is being recruited by the likes of Clemson, Penn State, Tennessee, Alabama and many others. He took a visit last weekend to Virginia Tech. He will make another official visit in October to West Virginia, following up an unofficial visit to Morgantown, which he said he really enjoyed on Sept. 20 as he attended the game between the Mountaineers and Oklahoma.

Settle visited Oklahoma State this summer on an unofficial as he hit both OSU and OU in the same trip.

He was very impressed with the Cowboys facilities and hit it off with defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer, defensive line coach Joe Bob Clements, defensive GA Eric Henderson, and Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy.

Settle had 72 tackles, 3 sacks, and 5 passes broken up last season and his Jackson team is 3-2 this season with a win last week over Gar-Field 43-13. They play this Thursday against Freedom High School before Settle leaves for his visit to OSU.
