Maile Says Visit Goes Well

Already committed to Oklahoma State, Tyler Junior College defensive lineman Motekiai Maile made his official visit to the Stillwater campus this weekend with his parents.

"The visit went great and my parents had a really good time and they loved it," said the 6-3, 300-pound athletic Maile.

"Coach (Beni) Tonga spent a lot of time with us and my players hosts were Vili Leveni and Junior (Galea'i). Yes, guys I knew. It was just all around good from watching the game to walking around and like I said my parents got to see it and really liked it. The weather got a little crazy (snow) but coming home after we got to Oklahoma City it was good. I'm already back in Dallas."

Maile will finish up his junior college academics at the end of this semester at Tyler Junior College where the Apaches finished the season 8-3 losing to Trinity Valley in the SWJCFC Championship Game. He finished the season with 54 tackles, three sacks, and 10 tackles for loss playing both defensive end and defensive tackle.

Maile confirmed that he will sign with the Cowboys on Dec. 17 and then be enrolled for the spring semester at Oklahoma State.
