OSU vs. Washington In Cactus Bowl

Oklahoma State is heading to the 26th Annual TicketCity Cactus Bowl against Washington on Jan. 2, at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona.

The Cowboys, 6-6, upset 20-point favorite Oklahoma on Saturday to get their sixth win of the season making them eligible for a school-record ninth straight bowl game.

Washington, under the direction of first-year coach Chris Petersen (formerly of Boise State), finished 8-5 this season with wins over Oregon State and Washington State in the Huskies final two games.

OSU has made one previous appearance in the game, playing in the 2007 game when it was known as the Insight Bowl. The Cowboys defeated Indiana 49-33 as Zac Robinson was named the Offensive MVP in throwing for 302 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 70 yards and two more scores.
