Stevenson Has Good Visit; No Commit Change

We caught up with speedy running back Jordan Stevenson from Dallas (South Oak Cliff), Texas as the 5-10, 185-pound standout was checking in for his return flight home from a visit to Oklahoma State. Stevenson told us he would call us back later.

In the brief conversation we had he said the visit was good, but there was no change in his commitment status which is currently to Wisconsin. Stevenson had committed to the Badgers in December after having previously been committed to Texas.

Checking with other players that were on the visit weekend in Stillwater they also confirmed that Stevenson appeared to have a good time.

Stevenson had a tremendous senior season with 2,530 yards and 34 touchdowns on 258 carries. He is also a good receiver out of the backfield.

As far we know, Stevenson has no other visits scheduled. We also know that Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy has not made a home visit to Stevenson in Dallas. That might be a difference maker, although it was obvious from Twitter that Wisconsin fans are campaigning heavily to keep Stevenson on the Badgers pledge list for signing day.
