"We left around 4 (p.m.)," Carson said as we reminded him that he had text us during a meeting with head coach Mike Gundy. "I'm still committed to Georgia, but I'm thinking about it," Carson added when asked how he left the situation with OSU.
Oklahoma State needs a running back to add to its roster and Carson, who is committed to Georgia and has been really since high school being originally out of Parkview High School in Lilburn, Ga., is looking for immediate playing time and an opportunity to show his talents so he can gain the opportunity to play in the NFL.
"I really liked it, the school and the facilities," Carson answered when asked about the visit. "Ryan Simmons, the linebacker, and Jimmy Bean were our hosts. The facilities are all nice. The beds are really comfortable, but the locker room, I was really impressed with that because it's so big."
Carson rushed for 972 yards and nine touchdowns at Butler this season. He is a very impressive running back physically at 6-1, 210 pounds and with sub 4.5 speed. On tape he seems to be the complete package as a running back. He also catches the ball well out of the backfield.
He told us that he would let us know when he decides something for sure. In the meantime, expect Oklahoma State to continue looking for answers in this recruiting class at running back.
