Daniels was All-State on both sides of the ball, and on the defensive side for the second season in a row. He visited OU back in October, Oklahoma State in November, and most recently Iowa.
Now as for the running backs picture, OSU coaches (we believe offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich and running backs coach Jemal Singleton) were in Kansas on Wednesday night to meet with Georiga native and verbal commitment and Butler Community College standout running back Chris Carson. Carson has said he will announce his final college intention on Sunday.
Last night the same pair, and maybe more, were in the home of Dallas South Oak Cliff running back and current Wisconsin commit Jordan Stevenson. The Offensive Player of the Year in his District and All-State running back is set to make a final decision sometime before or on signing day.
Our understanding is that he is getting a lot of advice. Some of that advice is from a multitude of Wisconsin fans on social networking like Twitter and Instagram and some of it is from coaches and others that are wondering why he can't see the opportunity at Oklahoma State. Either way that is a situation in flux for now.
We have confirmed that Devonte Williams from The Bullis School in Potomac, Md., has landed in Indianapolis and is following through with a scheduled official visit to Indiana after getting a scholarship offer from Oklahoma State on Thursday. Then 5-9, 171-pound running back is committed to Marshall and is a very talented player with good skills running and as a receiver. What we don't know is whether he will stay the entire weekend at Indiana or split it and check out Oklahoma State.
We know that there is one official visitor at Oklahoma State for the weekend but we are still trying to verify who that prospect is. The known is that Oklahoma State is still looking to add a running back or two in their class by Wednesday.
