OSU Recruiting: Late Developments

Just a few developments that have broke concerning Oklahoma State football recruiting on Saturday, and unfortunately neither of them are good.

Baton Rouge (Central), La. OLB/Safety Kevin Henry is on an official visit to Miami, Fla. with a teammate that is committed to the Hurricanes. The teammate is wide receiver Terrell Chapman.

This is surprising a little because Henry seemingly had such a good visit to Oklahoma State last weekend. He was hanging with and helping recruit Louis Brown, who committed to OSU last Saturday night and was pictured with Henry.

Part of this could be that Henry, who was committed very early to hometown LSU, only made the one official visit to Oklahoma State and it is not lost on recruits that these visit weekends are a chance to be catered to and fed well and entertained. I'm sure it is not something that the Cowboys staff is very fired up over or then again, maybe they are.

Also, it appears that Jordan Stevenson, the talented and speedy running back out of Dallas South Oak Cliff and one that Oklahoma State was still holding out hopes on, has made his final decision. Stevenson has said he is sticking with and will sign with Wisconsin.

As for Oklahoma State and the final visit weekend, we are still trying to obtain information on whether the Cowboys have a visitor(s) and who they may be.
