We will be there along with a good number of other reporters from the scout.com network and a number of the prospects there have Oklahoma State among their recruiting interests and offers. The defensive side is headed by recent Cowboy commitment Madre Harper, a talented 6-3, 175-pound cornerback from host Arlington Lamar.
There are more defensive backs at the event than players at any other position with 91 corners or safeties on hand. Besides Harper, scheduled to appear are Chris Brown of Alief Elsik, Benji Franklin of Alief Taylor, Eric Cuffee from Waco High, Donovan Duvernay of Sachse, standout corner A.J. Green of Desoto, and Eric Monroe from Galena Park North Shore.
Defensive tackle Chris Daniels of Euless Trinity (pictured above) is one of the very best prospects expected. He is joined by Kendall Jones of Killeen Shoemaker, Darius Anderson of Fort Bend Hightower, and out-of-state prospects like Xavier Kelly of Wichita East in Kansas, Rashard Lawrence of Neville, Louisiana, and McTelvin Agim from Hope, Arkansas.
Another prospect that was part of a group of four high school standouts in Stillwater last Sunday for unofficial visits is linebacker Clifton Lewis from Fort Bend Hightower in the Houston area. Michael Divinity from John Ehret High School in the New Orleans area is one of the top linebacker prospects in the country. Two Texans, Jordan Carmouche of Manvel and Erick Fowler from Manor, will also be at Arlington Lamar for the Nike event on Sunday.
Stay tuned to Scout and scout.com for more on the Cowboys prospects and all the participants at the event.
