The Oklahoma State roster is always littered with Texas talent, and the 2016 class is coming along well with recent commits from Argyle (Texas) Liberty Christian quarterback Nick Starkel and Lancaster (Texas) wide receiver Tyrell Alexander.

The 6-foot-3.5, 186-pound Starkel, a three-star prospect, chose the Cowboys over offers including Tulane and Indiana State; Alexander, a 6-foot-1.5, 170-pound four-star athlete and the number nine ranked receiver in the Midlands, had offers around the country including Arizona State, Baylor TCU, Arkansas, and Iowa State.
