Onwuzurike Confirms Offer From OSU

Sometimes we get caught behind and in this case we did, but it was good to get an update from Allen, Texas defensive end Levi Onwuzurike.

"Yes sir, Oklahoma State offered me back on March 2," the 6-3 and now 250-pound defensive end for the Allen Eagles confirmed over the phone. "My latest offer is Arizona State but things (with recruiting) have slowed down and it is more relaxed right now."

Onwuzurike said they have started spring football already at Allen.

"We're getting coaches coming by every day right now," he added. "I'm not sure academically what I'm looking for, still trying to decide that. In football I know I prefer a 4-3 defense."

Onwuzurike has a lot of choices with Arkansas, Baylor, Boston College, Duke, Iowa State, Miami (Fla.), Missouri, Northwestern, Kansas, Michigan, SMU, Stanford, TCU, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, and Washington among his offers along with the previously mentioned Oklahoma State and Arizona State.

He is a physical style of defensive end with good quickness and seems as adept at run defense as his pass rush skills.
