Recruiting: What Is Likely Left?

The news that Manvel, Texas safety Deontay Anderson came out with his top five schools, including LSU, Texas A&M, Texas, USC, and Ole Miss, had to be disappointing to Oklahoma State coaches. However, the Cowboys staff did get good news in a cut list earlier this week with making the top 10 schools left for defensive lineman Amani Bledsoe (pictured above) of Lawrence, Kansas.

As camp opens today for the Oklahoma State squad, the focus for several weeks will be intense on coaching up the current squad. Recruiting won't be forgotten but those prospects will soon have their own preseason practices to focus in on for the start of the season. Sept. 1 is when coaches can begin calling prospects again and that will bring the recruiting back into the forefront.

Oklahoma State has 12 commitments and here is an updated breakdown by position and what we believe Oklahoma State has left at each position and who it would be nice to see fill those spots.

Quarterback (Ful)
Nick Starkel, Argyle (Liberty Christian), Texas

Running Back (Full)
Justice Hill, Tulsa (Booker T. Washington), Okla.
LaDarren Brown, DeSoto, Texas

Wide Receiver (Likely two more. It would be nice to get Adewale Omotosho, Plano (East), Texas and Camron Williams, Dallas (First Baptist), Texas)
Dillon Stoner, Jenks

Offensive Line (Need one more, either Isaiahh Loudermilk, Howard (West Elk), Kansas or Tramonda Moore, Oklahoma City (John Marshall), Okla.
Teven Jenkins, Topeka, Kansas
Dylan Galloway, Coppell, Texas
Ryan McCollum, Spring (Klein Oak), Texas

Defensive Tackles (Need two)

Defensive End (Need maybe one. It would be nice to get Amani Bledsoe, Lawrence, Kansas)

Linebackers (Full)
Devin Harper, Knoxville (Karns), Tenn.
Amen Ogbongbemiga, Calgary (Notre Dame), Ontario, Canada

Rodarius Williams, Shreveport (Calvary Baptist), La.
Malik Kearse, Fort Scott C.C., Kansas
