Klein (Oak), Texas offensive tackle prospect Ryan McCollum made an unofficial visit over the weekend to Oklahoma State. McCollum is an OSU commitment. Another Cowboy commit on the offensive line is Dylan Galloway.
The Coppell, Texas lineman was first seen by the Cowboys at a camp hosted by Mary-Hardin Baylor this summer at L.D. Bell High School. I was really impressed with the 6-5, 280-pound Galloway and I wouldn't have been the only one. He committed to Oklahoma State not long after that camp.
"It was nice and I really liked everything," Galloway said of his unofficial visit for the Cowboys 58-10 win over Kansas. "I was there with my mom, my dad, and my sister. My official visit will be later after the season."
Galloway is a soft spoken person who doesn't say a lot. He told me he thought the senior season was going well. Coppell is 4-4 overall and 2-2 in district play leaving them some work to do to make the playoffs.
"We have Colleyville Heritage this week," Galloway said.
For non-Texas high school aficionados the Coppell High School nickname is Cowboys. Galloway will not have to worry about changing mascots in college. When asked if everything was good with him and Oklahoma State and his commitment was solid he said it certainly was.
"I'm committed to the Cowboys."
