I know there are some thoughts out there that the Oklahoma State recruiting class is about to explode and finish up or get really close. I was clued in to a lot of social message traffic that implied that things were going to move fast.
I have since got an update on what really is left in recruiting for Oklahoma State and it is not much in numbers. In fact, if a player were inclined to want to go to Oklahoma State and has an offer then they might not want to wait too long.
After Larry Williams, the offensive lineman from Hutchinson Community College committed last week, that leaves one offensive line spot. There are several options and some new names coming in, players that are even committed to other schools but want to know if Oklahoma State would be interested in taking them. That's what happens when you are 9-0.
There is one receiver position open, and it is a huge positive that Tyrell Alexander has been at the last two home games as the Lancaster, Texas standout de-committed but now my be very serious about being back on board with the Cowboys. They also offered Zach Farrar at Southlake Carroll, and he is a strong prospect.
On defense, the Cowboys are looking for a defensive tackle, a defensive end, and really getting Calvin Bundage.
That is really where they seem to be right now, with the exciting proposition of top prospects calling and seeing if they can get in on Oklahoma State.
