Traylund Webber Visit Highlights Huge Recruiting Weekend For Oklahoma State

More than 100 prospects will be attending sixth-ranked Oklahoma State's showdown with 10th-ranked Baylor on Saturday night, including junior college defensive end Traylund Webber of Blinn College.

We found Oklahoma State is expecting another 100-plus prospects in attendance this weekend for the top-10 showdown game at Boone Pickens Stadium with the sixth-ranked and unbeaten Cowboys hosting the 10th Baylor.

Our man taking roll on the sidelines will try to write down as many names as he can on Saturday evening but we do know that All-SWJCFC defensive end Traylund Webber of Blinn College is already on campus on an official visit this weekend. Webber is originally out of Cameron (Cameron Yoe), Texas. He committed in July of this summer to Minnesota, but apparently with the coaching change as Jerry Kill stepped down he is taking an official look at the Cowboys.

Webber is 6-3, 245 pounds and this season had 35 total tackles with six sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery for the Pirates at Blinn. He also had scholarship offers from Arizona State, Cincinnati, Kansas, ULL, Memphis, OU, Purdue, Texas State, and Washington State in addition to OSU and Minnesota. Seeing him on campus this afternoon he is a very athletic looking 6-3, 245.

Other players we know have said they will be in Stillwater for the game Saturday night include a number of commitments and top prospects. New commitment Tyler Brown, offensive lineman from Lexington, Okla., will be at a game for the first time as a Cowboy commitment. That is also true for junior college offensive line commitment Larry Williams, who comes from Hutchinson Community College in Kansas by way of East Carolina University.

More committed players expected for the game are cornerback Madre Harper of Arlington Lamar, quarterback Nick Starkel of Liberty Christian Academy, and Dillon Stoner, who played Friday night in the semifinals of the Oklahoma Class 6A-1 semifinals. Also included on that list are cornerbackl Rodarius Williamsof Calvary Baptist Academy in Louisiana and 2017 linebacker commitment Levine Toilolo of Collinsville, Okla.

Uncommitted prospects that we know of include Edmond Santa Fe safety and star linebacker prospect Calvin Bundage and Damion Daniels, the Dallas Bishop Dunne 2017 defensive tackle and younger brother of current OSU freshman defensive tackle Darrion Daniels.  Southlake Carroll wide receiver Zach Farrar is back this week as is big Tramonda Moore of Oklahoma City John Marshall. Justin (Northwest), Texas 2018 offensive line prospect Darrell Simpson II is also coming back for the second or third time this fall.
