Oklahoma State has biggest recruiting turnout of the season

Defensive end Tralund Webber of Blinn College (Texas) was one of many recruits attending the Oklahoma State-Baylor game on Saturday night, and the standout junior college player told GoPokes.com that he was impressed with what he saw.

Saturday night was chilly and the result with Baylor jumping out in front and holding Oklahoma State off for a 45-35 win and handing the Cowboys their first loss of the season made it seem even colder. But apparently it was a warm night in the recruiting section as Oklahoma State and the crowd and atmosphere had a strong impact on recruits.

There was one prospect that was there on an official visit and that was Blinn College (Texas) defensive end Tralund Webber.

"I liked everything, everything about it I liked," said the 6-3, 245-pound All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference defensive end.

Webber has been committed to Minnesota since July, but it might be worth keeping an eye on if that might change. We caught up with him at the airport and he seemed like he was pretty excited about his Oklahoma State visit. Webber told us that he will be a May graduate at Blinn and arrive at his college destination for the summer.

Now from sight on the sidelines it sure seemed like there were more recruits than had been down on the filed during warm-ups before any game this season. We had heard that Oklahoma State was expecting over 100 prospects for the second game in a row and that they were having to bring them in at two separate gates.

Here is our list of prospects we were able to see on the sidelines and we have them divided in two groups. The first group is committed and offered players that we know of and the second is other prospects that we saw on the sidelines, usually these are the top prospects in attendance.
