Pair Of Talented Receivers Like OSU Trip

Wide receiver prospects Quartney Davis (Houston Langham Creek) and Ade Omotosoho (Plano East) were two of the official visitors this weekend to Oklahoma State.

The reaction from the monster official visit weekend at Oklahoma State the past few days continues. Just as we heard from some of our interviewees Sunday that stopped by and spoke to us on their way out of Stillwater it appears that two very talented and sought after receivers from Texas had good visits. One of the other prospects in attendance that came by and interviewed with us said he thought they were both going to commit.

One of those receivers is Houston Langham Creek's Quartney Davis. The 6-2, 181-pound Davis is a speedster and had excellent numbers this seson with 53 receptions for 961 yards and 10 touchdowns with two more scores on kickoff returns. Davis has 1,862 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns in his career. He is visiting three schools while having over 30 offers with this visit to Oklahoma State that he tweeted went well.

Oklahoma St. Visit was a good one # GoPokes

He will visit Oklahoma next weekend and then finish on Jan. 29 at UCLA.

Ade Omotosoho out of Plano East has been a longtime Oklahoma State target. The 6-3, 185-pound Omotosho had 33 receptions for 621 yards and 6 touchdowns this past season. He too has a lot of offers and is likely to visit TCU next weekend. His love this weekend was to and from Oklahoma State.

Go Pokes, much love!

The very viable question is whether the Cowboys have the scholarship numbers available to take one or both of these talented receivers with some other pressing needs in the recruiting class including still looking for the quarterback in the class.
