OSU Commit Marshall Now Considering Arkansas

Jonathan Marshall has been committed to Oklahoma State since August but it appears Arkansas may have convinced the standout defensive end to change his mind after making an official visit this weekend.

One of Oklahoma State's flagship commitments two-time All-State defensive Jonathan Marshall of Shepherd, Texas went to Arkansas on an official visit this weekend. It seems like Arkansas just jumped in on Wednesday and convinced him to take the visit.

The 6-3, 275-pound Marshall is either home or on his way home and as opposed to previous situations he has not been answering the phone. Reports out of Arkansas have Marshall saying he really enjoyed the visit, which he made with his mother and a teacher from his school.

He told the reporters in Arkansas that he really enjoyed seeing the academic facilities and the athletic facilities. Marshall said he almost committed to Arkansas but held off and will consider and then perhaps make an announcement on Monday.

Of course, coaches are campused as of midnight Saturday night and the Oklahoma State coaches are stuck in a situation of trying to change things back to the way they were without being able to meet face to face.
