Shane Richards Will Tweet His Decision On Tuesday

New Mexico Military Institute standout offensive lineman Shane Richards, who visited Illinois and Louisville this past week, says he will announce his decision Tuesday.

Canadian native and All-Western States Football League offensive lineman Shane Richards said he is on his way home from the second of two visits he made this week and that on Tuesday he will tweet his final verbal pledge, which he initially made to Oklahoma State.

A native of Calgary and recent attendee of New Mexico Military Institute in junior college, Richards was at Illinois on an official visit on Wednesday through Friday and then on Friday through today he was at Louisville.

"I went to Illinois on Wednesday and that was a midweek visit so a lot of the coaches weren't there and they were on the road recruiting. Coach (A.J.) Ricker was there and I spent a lot of time with him. It was a good visit," said the 6-7, 320-pound Richards.

"Then I went to Louisville on Friday and I got to see all their coaches and that was a good visit too," he continued. "I go to see the players a lot and the facilities were really cool out at Louisville, and my aunt was able to come down and be there on the visit so I had family and that was good."

Richards said he would think about it and then he would tweet his final verbal commitment. His Twitter address is @sr4shane, so you can check in on that Tuesday. I think it is down to Oklahoma State and maybe Louisville. Richards will be a summer enrollee wherever he winds up.
