Scouting Report and Projection: After watching him on video, two things stick out. First, he is outstanding at taking a play that is breaking down and have problems and very quickly getting back on track to make something good happen. He has outstanding athletic ability and is quite competent at turning a bad play into a good one. His other aspect that is so noticeable is his throwing. He has a tremendous arm and plenty on the football to complete big plays downfield but he does it with some bad mechanics as in throwing off his back foot and not transferring his weight in this throwing motion. When he gets to the point that he masters that then his arm will look really off the chart. Not just saying this but if OSU gets Wudtee instead of Nick Starkel then in my evaluation that will be an upgrade, and I liked Starkel a lot. There is so much more to Wudtee and what he can do to help a football team. It would be nice to red-shirt him, but he is good enough to earn the back-up job right away.
