Long-Awaited Offer For Justin Broiles Is His 30th

Standout cornerback Justin Broiles from John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City receives a scholarship offer from Oklahoma State.

Oklahoma State fans that actively follow recruiting have been waiting for news on Justin Broiles, some screaming for it to happen.

"Blessed to have received offer #30 from The Oklahoma State Cowboys. #Go Pokes"

That message appeared on the Oklahoma City John Marshall High School cornerback's Twitter account on Monday night signifying the 6-0, 175-pound cornerback prospect had an offer from the Cowboys.

His other offers include the likes of OU, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Kansas State, Arkansas and many others. Last season Broiles had 47 tackles and an interception. He is also good friends with Oklahoma State signee in the 2016 class in big offensive lineman Tramonda Moore.

Broiles plays for former OSU All-American wide receiver Rashaun Woods, who is the head coach at John Marshall. The connections are there and a number of Oklahoma State fans had even voiced mystery to concern to frustration as to why the Cowboys had not offered yet.

You also might look at the calendar, while Oklahoma State has offered more prospects much earlier than in the past it is still March 1 and the offer came on February 29, a leap year special. It is still early in the process.
