Cowboys Offer 2018 Standout Bumper Pool

Oklahoma State offered Bumper Pool, a junior-to-be at Lovejoy High School near Allen, Texas, after his workout for the Cowboys coaching staff on Thursday.

The other day it was Denton (Ryan), Texas quarterback Spencer Sanders as the Oklahoma State Cowboys offered the surging quarterback prospect that will be a junior this season. Offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich was able to see Sanders at the final stop on the Mary Hardin-Baylor satellite mega camp stop at L.D. Bell High School in Hurst.

Now the Pokes have offered 2018 linebacker Bumper Pool from Lovejoy High School near Allen, Texas. He may have the best name in the 2018 recruiting class. Pool (pictured above in the red shorts) reportedly showed off in a camp session at Oklahoma State on Thursday prompting an offer to be sent to his head coach.

Later Pool tweeted, "I had a great visit and received an offer from Oklahoma State University. #GoPokes."

Pool also has offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, and SMU. Along with the Cowboys, he picked up an offer from Michigan.

He is 6-2, 215 pounds and very athletic. He moves well and covers a lot of ground.

Last season he finished with 68 total tackles, 39 unassisted, 9 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 1 fumble recovered, and 3 fumbles forced. His freshman season he had 83 tackles, 61 unassisted, 3 tackles for loss, an interception, a fumble recovery, and a fumble forced.

Pool did not go to the satellite camp but instead made the trek up to the Oklahoma State campus and met with both head coach Mike Gundy and defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Glenn Spencer.
