Marvin Wilson, the top prospect in Texas and one of the best in the nation, has revealed his top 10 schools. He is very fond of LSU (formerly listed as leader), Alabama, and Florida State.
The defensive tackle from Houston (Bellaire Episcopal) also likes Texas, but also talks about how his home state team needs to prove they are bouncing back and going to become a premier program on the field again. He also lists the likes of Ohio State, future unofficial visit destinations like UCLA and USC.
Pressed in an interview, the 6-5, 329-pound defensive tackle said Oklahoma State would make his top 10, along with OU as he visited both school unofficially last weekend.
"I just like the Cowboys," Wilson told a Rivals reporter at their event. "I went there last weekend to check it out and went to Oklahoma. Dez Bryant is from there and I really like him. I liked it when I checked it out."
The 5-star recruit has over 150 tackles and close to 30 career sacks at Bellaire Episcopal where he is joined by another highly regarded recruit in tackle Walker Little (6-7, 300).
Wilson has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, OU, Texas, USC, UCLA, Tennessee, and more, including of course Oklahoma State. Wilson is ahead of the game in almost every respect and he has already been named a U.S. Army All-American.
