Three Cowboys Sign; Cobb Returning To OSU

A trio of Oklahoma State Cowboys have signed after being drafted – Remey Reed, Michael Mertz and J.R. Davis – but standout pitcher Trey Cobb (pictured above) declares that he'll return for his senior season.

Thanks to Major League Baseball here is a look at the status of the Oklahoma State Cowboys that were drafted in the recent MLB Amateur Draft and whether they have signed. One Cowboy has already made his professional debut and that is second baseman J.R. Davis.

Another Oklahoma State player drafted has declared his return to Oklahoma State for his senior season and that is Broken Arrow pitcher Trey Cobb, who excelled as both a starter and a closer. The return of Cobb, which he declared on his Twitter site, and the fact that freshman ace and All-American Jensen Elliott will be back means that two-thirds of the starting rotation from this past regular season will be back for the Cowboys.

Below is the updated status and again, that comes courtesy of MLB.com and the website's signing tracker.
