Big 12 Media Days: Sterns Chasing Pokémon

Preseason All-Big 12 free safety Jordan Sterns is one of the conference's best at pursuing receivers, but he's also pretty good at pursuing Pokémon.

When I think of Oklahoma State preseason All-Big 12 free safety Jordan Sterns, Pokémon Go is not one of the first things that comes to mind.

I think of big time hits and interceptions like the one at Iowa State that sealed the deal on the hard fought win in Ames last season. In fact, Iowa State quarterback Joel Lanning, also in Dallas today representing the Cyclones for Big 12 Media Days complimented Sterns and Oklahoma State for that win saying that the Cowboy "knew how to win close games and how to come back when being down and that is why they were 10-0 leaving Ames."

Sterns has worked hard this summer toward getting ready for the upcoming season. He is one of the top leaders on the defensive side of the ball, but he is also getting extra pursuit in looking for Pokémon Go creatures at Boomer Lake.

Yes, Sterns is one of those people walking around in a daze staring at their phone trying to catch 'em all.
