Pat Fields Gets Cowboys Offer

Defensive back Patrick Fields picked up an offer from Oklahoma State on Tuesday after watching the Cowboys' first practice of the fall.

Tulsa Union defensive back Patrick Fields was back in Stillwater on Tuesday morning to watch the first Oklahoma State practice in fall camp and by the time he left campus Fields had an offer, his fourth scholarship offer to go with the offers from OU, TCU, and Tulsa.

The 6-1, 190-pound Fields plays safety but has the athletic skills (he is also a top-flight track athlete) to play at cornerback.

Fields posted the news on Twitter with a collage of Oklahoma State action pictures, one featuring Cowboys corner Ashton Lampkin. He wrote, "All praise goes to God. Extremely blessed to have received an offer from Oklahoma State University."

His Twitter account is @PatrickFields24 and his post has already been liked and re-tweeted a bunch.

It will be interesting to see how Fields is used by Union this upcoming season.
