Future Cowboys: Receivers Shine In Openers

What a opening week for future Oklahoma State Cowboys! Three players – Shamond Greenwood, LaMarcus Morton and Tylan Wallace – combined to catch 19 passes for 567 yards (nearly 30 yards per reception) and 8 touchdowns in leading their teams to season-opening wins. Here’s a quick look at how all of OSU’s commits performed in this past week’s games.

This week’s game: Bixby participated in a three-way scrimmage Thursday night with Yukon and Choctaw, but Evers was not able to take part because of a knee injury. Here’s video of Robert Allen visiting with the standout defensive tackle at the scrimmage.

This week’s game: Greenwood had five catches for 156 yards and two touchdowns but it wasn’t enough as Waxahachie defeated Lakeview Centennial 46-34 in the season opener for both teams. Greenwood has scoring catches of 43 and 66 yards.
