Cowboy Baseball Releases Schedule

Oklahoma State will attempt to return to the College World Series for the second year in a row.

The Oklahoma State University athletic department and the baseball program released the 2017 Cowboys baseball schedule on Wednesday morning. Oklahoma State will begin defense of its College World Series top-four finish with a trip to Arizona to face Grand Canyon University in a three-game series in February, and then a single game with Arizona State before heading home to open the home slate at Allie Reynolds Stadium verses Texas State in a three-game series.

Josh Holliday and his talented squad returning the starting pitching staff and closer minus one member will open March in Frisco, Texas in a special event that will have the Cowboys facing their 2-16 NCAA Regional opening opponent in Nebraska and their three-time opponent in the College World Series last summer in Arizona. Oklahoma State will also play Arkansas in the Frisco event. The Cowboys come home from Frisco to play a 10-game homestand in 16 days.

In conference play the Cowboys will host West Virginia, Kansas State, Texas, and Baylor and will finish the regular season with the Bedlam series playing one game at OneOk Stadium and two in Oklahoma City at the Bricktown Ballpark.
