There was some banging going on in Oklahoma State's 37-20 win over West Virginia.
Besides the expected bumps and bruises, here's a list of the injured:
Star linebacker Jordan Burton had a stinger. It did not appear to be as serious as the one he had against Texas, but he did not return after coming out in the third quarter.
Wide receiver James Washington fought through a back bruise or a tightening of his back muscle. He was sore but played throughout. It is something that will have to be watched this week.
Wide receiver Chris Lacy (pictured above) suffered a bruised hip when he slid on the WVU flag on the ground as he came down on his second touchdown catch and went into the wall with his hip. I would think it would be okay with treatment this week.
Those were the major issues. The concern would be at receiver where depth is not quite what it was last season. The major question is where is Marcell Ateman with his possible return and will he return considering all that is on the line right now or consider taking the redshirt in return for the hopes of a full season in 2017.
Out for next week at Kansas State are:
RG Larry Williams - ankle sprain
WR Dillon Stoner - out for the season following surgery
DE Jordan Brailford - in a boot for a leg injury and his return is uncertain at this time
