Highlights Of Future Cowboys Dawson, Glover

Oklahoma State commits Zack Dawson and Latravian Glover have helped lead South Miami High School to an 18-2 record this season.

Zack Dawson and Latravian Glover out of South Miami (Fla.) High School are the type of players that first-year Oklahoma State head coach Brad Underwood is recruiting to turn the program around.

Dawson is a 6-4 point guard for the South Miami Cobras, while Glover is a 6-7 athletic wing. Both signed with Underwood and the Cowboys during the November signing period.

“They’re players. They’re our type of guys, my type of guys – guys who want to be great, guys who work and guys who maybe have a chip on their shoulder, maybe have something to prove,” Underwood said when asked recently about Dawson and Glover.

“They’re on one of the best high school teams in Florida, so they’re going to win. They’re taught to play hard, they’re coached well, and they’re coached to play hard. That fits what we do. And literally all they do, they don’t play for stats, they play to win. My type of guys.”

This video shows highlights of Dawson (wearing jersey No. 0) and Glover (No. 11) from South Miami’s 62-33 victory over Braddock High School earlier this week.
